Trip ReportA lovely calm afternoon for a walk - apart from the blizzard!Although it was much too warm for the snow too settle it did make for a very attractive walk with the snowflakes coming down vertically thick and fast. Out at sea a number of Gannets were circling around looking for shoals of fish, but the snow made it difficult to see any other birds. The lack of other walkers around meant that we saw A number of plants were showing signs of spring growth particularly the Alexanders. Other plants seen included Salad Burnet and both examples of Maidenhair Fern. |
