Dorset Walks
Monday June 24th Blacknoll Heath
After a very windy weekend it was nice to be out in calm and mostly sunny weather.
The family of lapwings we saw were a first for Dorset Walks and it was very pleasing to see that the stonechats had already raised a brood of young.
We may have heard a distant Dartford warbler but it would have had to be a lot closer to be sure of it.
