As usual at this time of year things have gone a bit quiet. Still a few terns to see in Portland Harbour but not much else there.
Sunday 27th saw the first evidence of Autumn migration with a Sand Martin flying south, 4 Common Sandpipers on the shore near Wellworthy's and the first returning Med Gull hawking for insects over Downclose estate.
The Ringed Plover was heard calling over Newstead Road on the night of 26th.
