September 17th - The highlight was a Buzzard just over the house this morning. Lots of invisible Chiffchaffs all along the trail and one late Whitethroat calling from a bush. September 18th - A few more Chiffchaffs today along with the first Goldcrests of the autumn. October 1st - An unexpected doorstep surprise today when 11 BEarded Tits flew high over the northern end of the trail calling loudly and heading south.
