This week Radipole has been host to a rare visitor from Europe (or possibly from someone's duck collection closer to home) - a drake red-crested pochard.
I also took the opportunity to film a little egret that was fishing behind the pochard.
This bird is using their favourite "toe-waggling" technique to disturb fish out of their hiding places.
Some people think the egret's yellow feet actually attract fish but I don't think fish are that stupid.
Not when I try to catch them they're not anyway.
I also managed to get some slow-motion shots of swifts low over the reeds.
Not very good yet but this is a really tricky subject.
Finally I couldn't resist filming these tiny coot chicks.
