Lodmoor is a very good place to see waders, often giving close views in excellent light.
Recently there have been a group of three Greenshank there, one of which was acting very tame this afternoon.
The only other time I have managed to get close enough to a Greenshank to video it was in 2014 at Brownsea Island.
This video is in slow motion, about half normal speed I think.
At Lodmoor at the moment is a similar but far more rare bird from North America, a Lesser Yellowlegs.
I haven't managed to film it yet but this time last year another Lesser Yellowlegs was more obliging.
