Tumbledown Farm, Radipole

I've always been very envious of those with a big enough garden to witness a Sparrowhawk on a kill. Today I was lucky enough to not only see this for myself but I actually had my camera with me! Not only that but I was stood in the light of a very bright and low sun, so the hawk could probably not see me very well. In this video you can see how large its eyes are, with tiny black pupils as it stares towards me and into the sun.
The only other Sparrowhawk I've ever managed to video was this youngster from eight years ago at Radipole Lake.
