Weymouth Harbour
Monday May 26th 2014
This tern is often to be seen at the moment using the pedestrian footbridge at the north end of Weymouth Harbour.
Two years ago Lodmoor had a thriving colony of common terns, but last years they all mysteriously left without breeding.
Here is some film from 2012.
My favourite tern of all though was this white-winged black that was at Lodmoor in July 2012.
Back at Radipole the year's second brood of cygnets were out.
Let's hope they fare better than the first brood.
