An early walk out to Orford produced no videos but a few good sightings including a family of marsh harriers, several red-legged partridges and a very close hare.
The plants were the highlight though with two new species for me - sea wormwood and the introduced arable weed Amsinckia.

The rest of the day was spent near the village of Iken on the estuary of the River Alde.
Amongst the hundreds of roosting waders (mostly redshanks and godwits) were two strange-shaped brown objects.
As the tide came in these banana-shaped lumps turned into seals and swam right in close towards me.
Then one hauled itself up onto an island quite close inshore.
As I filmed it a couple of boats appeared making it look very nervous.
With the bird list standing at 95 I just needed another 5 to make the magic 100.
I had already seen 3 new ones in the morning (red-legged partridge, blackcap and lesser whitethroat)
and soon found the other two in the shape of coal tit and reed bunting near St Botulph's Church, pictured below.
